Fred D’Amelia

Fred D’Amelia was born in upstate New York but moved to Southern California at a very young age.  Growing up in the shadow of Hollywood inspired his love for storytelling and the mediums of film and television.  After graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Film and Electronic Arts he earned his stripes working on just about any set he could help out on, eventually building a successful commercial video production company in Southern California.

As storytelling is built into his DNA, his focus then shifted back to his passion, creating original narrative content. Since 2012 he has been a partner at Vertex Media in Southern California. Having traveled around the world producing content, he has been an integral part of creating multiple television series, music videos, and various other high-profile media projects
